Wash & Care

We highly recommend the use of a rug pad to provide stability and durability
As with all high-quality wool and organic cotton rugs, some shedding is expected and will diminish over time with regular use and care
Clean regularly with a low powered, non-rotary vacuum without a beater brush
Machine wash in delicate cycle and tumble dry at low temperature. Refer to the complete washing instructions here.

The rug is beautiful, but the amount of fiber it sheds during washing is unbelievable. I’ve washed it three times already, and the amount of shedding is still absolutely excessive.

Hi there, some shedding is natural with cotton rugs, but we’d like to take a closer look at what you’re experiencing after several washes. We’ll reach out directly to learn more.

Beautiful and soft rug! I was looking for an organic cotton rug for my toddler’s room and this is a perfect fit. Customer service is excellent and the owner Suman was terrific to work with. She was highly responsive and gave great advice on shopping for other organic nursery items. Highly recommend the rug and this company. Thank you for offering safe, organic options for our precious babies !
